Fueling Change in Hospitality

LEARN MORE

Our Why

Hospitality is built on passion, pressure, and relentless pace - but behind the scenes, one in five professionals reports mental health issues during their career. We exist to change that statistic for good.

Our mission is to make EVERYONE aware of mental health in hospitality.

How we got here

Founded in May 2019 by Kris Hall, The Burnt Chef Project began as a single photo series sparking raw conversations about burnout. Today, we’re a global social enterprise delivering accredited training, free resources, and an ever-growing community united by one flame-shaped logo.

Our impact so far

Our team - and a growing network of global ambassadors - pour their hearts into our mission every day, turning kitchens and dining rooms into spaces where honest conversations about mental health can thrive.
